GRINDSTED® Xanthan

With outstanding rheological and synergistic properties DuPont™ Danisco® Xanthan is the ingredient of choice for food producers all over the world.

Although primarily a thickener, GRINDSTED® Xanthan stabilizes suspensions, emulsions and solid particles in water-based recipes. 

The stability of GRINDSTED® Xanthan across a wide range of pH levels and temperatures makes it ideal for almost any recipe. And because it is also stable in high concentrations of alcohol and resistant to enzymatic degradation, it is an essential ingredient for everything from liqueurs to salad dressings.

Xanthan is used in numerous applications for its strong thickening effect at low concentration.
