XIVIA® Xylitol is a naturally occurring wood-based sweetener with all the taste and sweetness but only half the calories of sugar. Xylitol is widely approved for use in food around the world, and it also suitable for use in oral hygiene products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and toiletries.

XIVIA® xylitol is made by following a unique production process, the DuPont Wood Based concept, which involves considerably lower energy (85% lower) and materials consumption than conventional processes.

Integrated with the inherently sustainable use of paper and pulp side stream feedstock - itself derived from sustainable forestry - this contributes to a 90% reduction in carbon footprint.

XIVIA® production’s impact on land, water and ozone layer is negligible and has a carbon footprint of just 10% of the biomass process.

Format

XIVIA® xylitol is available under crystalline form with the look and taste of sugar. In addition to that we also offer a range of milled grades to suit any application, like for example chewing gum. We also offer solutions for simple tablet manufacturing pharmaceuticals, including parenteral nutrition and injectable treatments.
