International Workshop on Advances of Probiotics and Prebiotics (IWAPP)

DuPont is proud to partner with IWAPP and the event will bring together areas of veterinary, zootechnics and food science and technology. The novelty of the current edition will be to include the environmental area.

The workshop aims to bring together industry members, entrepreneurs, researchers and students from the areas of food, animal production, and the environment to discuss topics such as paraprobiotics (non-viable microbial cells also known as phantom probiotics) and probiotics (substances produced by bacteria) for application in food, in vitro models for the evaluation of probiotics and drugs, sensory methods for the development of probiotic products, among others.

Arthur Ouwehand, Technical Fellow from DuPont will speak at the event.
