Into adulthood. How probiotics designed for motherhood deliver benefits through life
We now have conclusive evidence that probiotic supplementation can benefit pregnant women and their children. Innovation has led to the commercialization of ingredients such as human milk oligosaccharides (HMO). New evidence suggests the benefits of HMO can extend beyond early life in infant formula to adulthood through dietary supplements. Join Ratna to consider what this means for the industry from manufacturing through to marketing. How do we evidence efficacy in today’s global regulatory environment and ensure sustainable production to meet market need?

Women’s health. How probiotics can make a difference
June 26, 9:35 am
Dr. Johanna Maukonen, DuPont Global Health and Nutrition Science Leader, will be presenting on women’s health and how probiotics can positively impact it.
Women’s health is high on the probiotic agenda, with sales of dietary supplement growing consistently year on year. Early probiotic applications have addressed vaginal infections, including bacterial vaginosis and vulvovaginal candidiasis, with considerable success. Today, as Johanna will reveal, we stand on the threshold of new opportunities. Drawing on important new research findings, she’ll show how probiotics can make an even broader contribution to the female feel-good.
Hope to see you there!
