DuPont is proud to be a sponsor of the 2019 Human Milk Conference.
The Human Milk Conference is a global scientific conference held every other year and is only recurring meeting dedicated to the science of human milk bioactives. Its goal is to bring together academics, government officials, researchers, industrials and more to discuss the structure-function relationship inherit to human milk. This year’s conference will focus on the following broad objectives:
- Discuss the current science of the composition, diversity, and variation within human milk structure and their functional importance to infant health and subsequent developmental stages.
- Promote meaningful cooperative and collaborative relationships between academia, clinical scientists, practitioners, industry, and government to maximize the field’s research impact and strengthen application at home and the clinic.
- Expose participants to strong complementary research from overlapping and aligned fields in an effort to recruit additional scientific resources to study human milk. This, coupled with our training mission, is intended to enhance the growth of the scientific discipline.
As part of this conference, DuPont Technical Fellow Ratna Mukherjea, PhD, will be chairing an informative session.
