DuPont are proud to be involved in the first 1st APV (International Association for Pharmaceutical Technology) Continuous Manufacturing Conference. The conference will aim to share learnings about the approaches for control strategies in continuous manufacturing from different pharmaceutical companies. It will also share learnings about the state of the art cleaning concepts and containment in continuous manufacturing from leading equipment suppliers, as well as discuss the challenges and opportunities in early and late CM development from industrial and academic perspectives.
Mohammad Qadir, Application Scientist, will present poster #1 entitled, “Improved tablet formulation characteristics with co-processed silicified microcrystalline cellulose (Avicel® SMCC)” on February 20 in the Esperanza meeting room on the second floor. His poster will discuss Avicel® SMCC which is a silicified microcrystalline cellulose that exhibits performance attributes unmatched by a simple blend of MCC and SiO2. The optimum flow, superior compactability, and excellent binding properties make Avicel® SMCC a binder of choice for direct compression and continuous manufacturing.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
