Date: 5 – 6 June, 2018 Location: Berlin, Germany

Dow Pharma Solutions a business unit of DowDuPont Speciality Division is proud to be present at PharmaTalk on June 5 & 6 in Berlin, Germany.

Please do not miss the opportunity to be in the audience to hear Dr Amina Faham, Global Head of Applications Development and Innovation, presentation entitled: How Functional Excipients Support Pharmaceutical Companies Increasing Productivity and Gain Efficiency.

This presentation will cover the importance of total cost of ownership which is driven by multiple parameters going beyond tangible factors like raw material and supply chain costs. Continuous efforts to increase productivity and efficiency in drug manufacturing and development are vital for margin expansions. It will describe how a closer look at excipients and collaborations with the suppliers can help to accelerate product developments, simplify manufacturing processes and to address critical formulation challenges. Specialty excipients, tailored to the specific needs of the drug candidate and to the drug manufacturing process can help converting to direct compression processes, to switch from batch to continuous manufacturing or to implement environmentally sustainable dry powder layer processes.

Dr. Amina Faham earned a PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the School of Pharmacy, University de la Mediterranée, France. She has over 15 years of experience in oral solid dosage forms with emphasis on modified drug release technologies, process development and optimization, as well as project management experience with companies including Ethypharm, Pfizer and Colorcon.

DuPont will have experts present throughout the event, so please do take this opportunity to connect us.
