International Human Microbiome Consortium Meeting -IHMC 2018

IHMC 2018 is a cutting-edge microbiome meeting that will focus on the latest science developments, as well as a strong industry-led session on bringing microbiome technology to the marketplace. IHMC 2018 is a platform to highlight the latest advances and challenges in microbiome research from discovery to delivery. The event will cover a wide range of themes including: Microbiota for molecules and therapeutics, Live Biotherapeutics, Microbiome-host interactions, Analyzing microbiome and host data, Diseases including Cancer, HIV & IBD. In addition the first World Microbiome Day will be launched at IHMC 2018, to celebrate microbiomes everywhere and their importance to global health.

Ratna Mukherjea, Technology and Innovation Leader, Human Milk Oligosaccharides from DuPont will present: Newly developed infant gut simulator model used to study impact of human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) on gut microbiota. 

Johanna Maukonen, Global Health and Nutrition Science Leader from DuPont will present: Probiotic and Synbiotic Intervention Differentially Alters the Gut Microbiota in Overweight and Obese Adults - a Randomized Controlled Trial to Control Body Fat Mass.
